We have worked with Whitbread since 2015 to support their ambitious plans for expansion in the budget hotel sector. It is a diverse and fast-paced programme that requires a huge amount of organisation and attention to detail in order to keep delivering projects in this ever-evolving sector. The advent of technology and increasing expectations of customers means we must adapt quickly to deliver a developing brand proposition.
Working on the hotel extensions programme, we have helped add over 2,500 new Premier Inn hotel rooms to their portfolio with many more in the pipeline. Developing their existing sites is key to Whitbread’s expansion plans, maximising the potential of each site within the constraints of planning, profitability and customer satisfaction.
As part of the expansion plan we also manage upgrades to reception areas, existing hotel rooms, breakfast rooms and restaurants, applying the latest brand standards and reconfiguring to support the larger hotel and guest numbers. Projects have ranged from simple refurbs to a complete demolition and rebuild of a branded restaurant.
