Monaghans provided Cost and Project Management services to the brand’s first restaurants in the UK, facilitating and managing the appointment of the full design team and working with the client from inception to opening. Two initial restaurants in Soho and Tower Bridge had over 2 floors and incorporated a private dining area, bar and sushi station.
With the success of the relationship in the UK, the client have brought Monaghans on board with their upcoming sites in mainland Europe.
- Monaghans efficiency led to delivery of the restaurant and bar on budget through robust design management, tendering and strong contract administration/change control
- Existing and shell buildings were challenging with numerous programme constraints including utilities upgrade, structural modifications, external roof plant access, and fire strategy.
- Monaghans have facilitated and assisted the client with Landlord and Shell negotiations and technical requirements
- Set up and managed procurement of design team and supply chain for client who had not worked in the UK previously
