SYP commissioned Monaghans to defend them from a dilapidations claim arising from their lease expiry. Our role was to inspect and issue a strategy report ahead of the exit. We produced a Scott Schedule and successfully defended SYP agreeing a monetary settlement for the Repairs, Decoration, Reinstatement and Statutory compliance liabilities from the expired lease.
This negotiation was one of a number which Monaghans have carried out for SYP on their South Yorkshire portfolio.
