Start on Site at Scotland Street

Works have recently commenced on site at Scotland Street for the construction of 229 Nr. apartments for private rent.

The scheme, which Monaghans are providing Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveying, Party Wall Surveying and Licensing Advice services for, is located on the long-neglected site of the former Queens Hotel in Sheffield and comprises 229 one and two bedroom furnished apartments. The development, Founders Yard, will offer excellent shared space to enhance residents’ lifestyles, including a rooftop garden, external courtyard, communal lounge, workstations, and a meeting room that can double as a movie room.

The image indicates the commencement of piling works required to three quarters of the site perimeter and the formation of the mountainous piling mat needed at the lower level of the site to allow completion of piling works at the upper level.

Completion of Founders Yard is expected in late 2022, with the below images showing the artists' impression of this exciting residential development.
