Lavazza Opens Flagship Store in London

Monaghans providing project management, quantity surveying, principal designer and CDM advisor services, alongside fellow Trebbi company Self, recently delivered a new flagship store for coffee giant Lavazza. Located in central London and opposite the iconic Liberty store, the café and restaurant is only the second such store in Europe and the first of Lavazza’s new international design concept. 

The striking design includes the curved central Barista counter and coffee bean chandelier, which dominate the ground floor café. Also situated on the ground floor is the takeaway and specialist grocery area with main stairs leading to the first-floor restaurant. The restaurant contains a green wall and brass cladding with a graphic floral design covering the ceiling.

Monaghans were involved from conception to completion alongside Self as executive architects and several specialist Italian sub-contractors. This collaborative effort from all involved helped to deliver the stunning design in the grade II listed building and further emphasises Trebbi’s specialism in successfully delivering one stop multi-disciplinary services to clients internationally and within the UK.
