An opportunity exists for a Building Surveyor to join our Sheffield office as a trainee building surveyor to work on instructions and projects in the Commercial, Residential and Retail sectors throughout the UK. Successful candidates will be trained as a building surveyor in both pre and post contract delivery of a diverse range of instructions, develop excellent communication skills with all levels of staff both internally and within client organisations. A great team and work ethic are essential.

Candidates should have a degree in Building Surveying. The candidate will be encouraged and supported to work towards professional qualifications including APM, iMaPS or other PD/CDM-C qualifications e.g. NEBOSH as part of career development.

Working as part of the Built Asset Consultancy team in Sheffield, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join an expanding business with exciting plans for the future, where progression and reward is driven by successful delivery.   • Delivery of work outputs within set time frames and commercial goals
  • Commitment, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
  • Team player capable of a flexible approach
  • Strong IT capabilities including working experience of Microsoft Office and Tablet & Mobile data collection
