Construction Supplier of the Year!

Monaghans are delighted to have been named as Whitbread’s ‘Construction Supplier of the Year’ for our provision of Programme, Cost and Project Management expertise to Premier Inn.

Following our appointment by Whitbread in 2015, Monaghans has provided programme management, quantity surveying and project management expertise to the UK’s biggest hotel brand Premier Inn. Working on extension projects we have delivered over 1,800 new rooms in support of the award-winning brand’s ambition to reach a target of 85,000 rooms by 2020.

The award was presented during Whitbread’s Premier Inn & Restaurants Supplier Conference at Wembley Stadium which Monaghans were pleased to be attending with suppliers from across the supply chain to discuss the latest ideas & innovations and hear updates on our valued client’s progress and plans for the future. Whitbread’s purchasing and property teams specifically recognised our effort and commitment to delivering the extension bedrooms, and our determination to continually drive costs down and deliver capital savings.

To be presented with the award for Construction Supplier of the Year amongst the many suppliers in attendance was a real honour. Congratulations go to our dedicated team working with Premier Inn, and we would also like to thank the wider client and consultant team we work with to continually deliver new rooms for the Premier Inn brand.
