Love Wolverton has scooped another two awards to add to its growing collection, winning the Building for a Healthy Life award and the Healthy Homes award at the 2022 Housing Design Awards, one of the highest accolades in the industry.

The awards, which celebrate the very best in housing design and are the only awards promoted by all 5 major professional institutions, is the longest running awards programme in the country, launched in 1948 in the same sitting of Parliament as the NHS, to reward better municipal post-war rebuilding.

Love Wolverton is the £35m regeneration of a Victorian railway town in Milton Keynes. The scheme, scheduled for completion in 2024, will bring new energy efficient homes, small independent shops, extensive public realm, a low-carbon mobility hub, and a renewable energy ‘microgrid’ to the Agora Centre of Wolverton.

Monaghans, working alongside an excellent project team, are involved as Principal Designer and Client CDM Consultant.
